Job summary

The Auto Club Group is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside calls, perform jump starts, tire changes, and towing as needed. You’ll work on the road, ensuring safety and excellent member service while documenting activities and maintaining gear.

This on-site, full-time role requires a valid driver's license, DOT readiness, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Training is fully paid, with attendance bonuses and a signing bonus for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass drug screen, DMV, background, and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• DOT certification and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance calls with service vehicle or tow truck.
• Provide emergency services: tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing/installation, jump starts, lockouts, and minor repairs.
• Tow disabled vehicles following procedures and guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle and operate tablets to manage calls.
• Document daily activities, service calls, and receipts.
