Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases end-to-end.

You will decide between internal technicians and third-party providers, and coordinate with the RCRC and maintenance teams to restore uptime and reliability for Ryder fleet assets. The role requires strong maintenance knowledge, diagnostic skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers and dispatchers under pressure.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Five or more years in Ryder operations (shop environment) preferred.
• Two+ years in Ryder operations customer service exposure preferred.
• Four+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• Two+ years in diagnostic and customer resolution exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide whether to call internal technicians or third-party providers.
• Provide updates and analyses to the maintenance team to improve uptime.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and share training.
