Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

You will decide whether to dispatch internal technicians or third‑party vendors, and work to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues. This role partners with the Ryder Customer Response Center, leveraging diagnostic knowledge and training to shorten downtimes and improve uptime.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years working in Ryder operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot and remedy vehicle breakdowns with full autonomy.
• Coordinate with RCRC and leadership; provide summaries and analysis.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training materials.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team and provide training.
