AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech I-Tow in Union, NJ to deliver safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for AAA members. You will respond to ETA requests, assess safety, provide minor mechanical assistance, and tow when necessary, while educating members on AAA products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by a single state or jurisdiction required.
• Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire screening and periodically during employment.

Responsabilités

• Respond to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination and locate members to take action.
• Assess safety of the scene on arrival and ensure vehicle is in a safe location.
• Provide efficient minor mechanical assistance and towing as per policy and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Promote AAA products and services during service calls.
• Operate MDC computer to receive and update information and collect payments.
• Maintain professional image of AAA and ensure service vehicle and equipment are in good condition.
