Job summary

AAA Northeast seeks a Roadside Service Tech I‑Tow to deliver safe, best‑in‑class roadside solutions for AAA members, responding to service requests with timely ETA and ensuring member safety and satisfaction. Provides minor mechanical assistance and, when needed, tows vehicles to repair facilities per policy.

The role offers a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, pay range $24.00–$27.00 per hour, and eligible bonuses with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years of age required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics preferred.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by one state required.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record check required.

Responsibilities

• Accepts calls and responds to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination.
• Performs safe and efficient minor mechanical assistance and towing services when required.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment in good, safe condition and handles safety checks.
• Educates members on AAA products and services; assists dispatch to route customers.
• Works flexible shifts to cover a 24/7 operation.
• Ensures member safety and secures vehicles during service.
