Job summary

AAA Washington seeks a Fleet Technician to respond to emergency service requests, identify mechanical issues, and provide roadside assistance on member vehicles. You’ll use towing and light service vehicles to keep members moving. This role requires strong customer service, mechanical skills, and adherence to safety standards.

The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to AAA’s values. A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in automotive or customer service are required,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years’ work experience in automotive and/or customer service.
• 1+ years’ demonstrated mechanical aptitude and reasoning.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass DOT fitness tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency mechanical assistance (jump-starts, battery tests, tire changes, gas delivery, lockouts).
• Tow vehicles to specified locations following safety procedures.
• Be the face of AAA Washington to members in need of roadside service.
• Offer customer service to members and other departments as needed.
• Perform minor repairs on fleet vehicles and report issues to management.
