Job summary

AAA Minneapolis is seeking a Tow Truck Driver/Roadside Assistance Technician to respond to roadside service calls, perform jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, battery installation, towing and winching, and to inspect vehicles before and after shifts.

You will operate a tow truck or light service vehicle, navigate to locations using maps and GPS, maintain records, and follow safety procedures while working outdoors and adapting to varied weather.

Qualifications

• A valid MN driver's license (with clean MVR)
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Light and/or Heavy-duty towing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls to assist members and customers
• Operate a tow truck or light service vehicle for jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, battery installation, towing and winching
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and ensure safe transport of vehicles
• Inspect and maintain service vehicles and equipment before and after shifts
• Use maps, GPS, and wireless tech to reach service locations and report updates
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures
