Job summary

AAA Washington is seeking a Fleet Technician to respond to emergency service requests and perform light roadside maintenance on member vehicles. You will operate tow and light service equipment and represent the club to members in need of assistance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT physicals, and a background in automotive or customer service, with hands-on mechanical skills and excellent safety awareness. A hybrid work environment may apply for corporate roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• DOT medical screening completion and maintenance
• Pre-employment and random drug screenings
• 3+ years in automotive or customer service
• 1+ year mechanical aptitude
• Must be 21+ for driver eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency mechanical assistance on member vehicles (jump-starts, battery tests, fuel delivery, tire changes, lockouts).
• Tow vehicles to specified locations following safety procedures.
• Be the face of AAA Washington for stranded members.
• Provide customer service to members and other departments.
• Report vehicle or operational issues to management.
• Perform minor vehicle repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Contribute to a positive team dynamic and align with AAA's vision and values.
