Job summary

AAA Washington is seeking a Fleet Technician to respond to emergency roadside requests and provide mechanical assistance to member vehicles. You will work with towing and light service fleets to get members back on the road, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive or customer service, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage and benefits, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive or customer service
• 1+ years’ demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Able to pass DOT physical and drug screenings
• 21+ years old for driver eligibility
• Valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency service requests and provide roadside assistance (jump-starts, battery tests, battery installs, tire changes, gasoline delivery, lock-out services)
• Tow vehicles to specified locations following safety procedures
• Be the/face of AAA Washington when members are stranded
• Provide excellent customer service to members and internal teams
• Advise manager of vehicle or operational issues
• Perform minor repairs on fleet vehicles
• Contribute to a positive team dynamic and support AAA’s mission and values
