Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to support large-scale events, maintenance and repairs, coordinating with drivers, customers and service providers. You’ll manage day-to-day event needs, approvals, and timely communications to ensure customer instructions are followed and billing is accurate.

This role emphasizes multitasking, strong communication, and attention to detail, with a focus on high-priority projects and exceptional service delivery to our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• Advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field could also be suitable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
