Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to coordinate major events, manage the flow of open repairs and maintain smooth operations for high-dollar maintenance. You will work with drivers, customers and service providers to keep events on track and customer instructions fulfilled.

Ideal candidates have a strong multitasking ability, excellent communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• At least 1 year of experience in a related Cox Fleet role (Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
• Strong communication skills by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents and impounds.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
