Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage large-scale events and campaigns, coordinating with drivers, customers and service providers to maintain smooth operations.

You will handle day-to-day event needs, ensure timely repairs, accurate estimates and clear communications, and uphold billing accuracy and customer protocol. This role emphasizes efficiency, safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years of related field experience (logistics, transportation, automotive technology) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email
• Strong communication skills via phone, email and in person

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-dollar repair approvals and serious situations like accidents or police impounds
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that customer instructions are followed promptly
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider
