Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to oversee large-scale events, campaigns, and open events. You will coordinate with drivers, customers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely repairs, with emphasis on accurate estimates and effective communication.

The role requires hands-on management of high-priority events, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong multi-tasking capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years in logistics/transportation or related field.
• Advanced degree or certification may substitute experience.
• 5 years of experience in related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that customer instructions are followed promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure proper billing is selected and communicated with service providers.
