Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet in Portland, OR is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to coordinate large-scale events and campaigns, ensuring smooth flow of open events and first-class service for customers.

You will work with drivers, customers and service providers to handle major events, managing repairs, estimates and billing with a focus on timely responses and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus relevant logistics/transport experience.
• 3 years of experience in related field (logistics, transportation, automotive tech).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-dollar repairs approvals and serious situations (accidents, impounds).
• Ensure timely response for repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is communicated with service providers.
