Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet in Tallahassee is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage large-scale maintenance events and coordinate with drivers, customers and service providers to keep open events flowing smoothly.

You will handle high-dollar repair approvals, ensure timely repairs and accurate estimates, and maintain clear billing communication while following customer protocols at the highest level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in logistics, transportation or auto tech.
• At least 1 year with Cox Fleet in related roles preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office for data entry and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day needs of major events, including high-dollar repair approvals.
• Ensure timely repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Follow customer protocol at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is communicated with service provider.
