Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage large-scale events and coordinate with drivers, customers and service providers ensuring timely repairs and accurate estimates. You will oversee event operations, approvals, and billing while maintaining strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology).
• The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
