Job summary

AAA Northeast in Providence, RI is seeking a Battery Service Technician to provide safe, world-class roadside battery service for members. You will test, install, and replace batteries, perform diagnostics, and educate members on battery care while maintaining vehicle safety and service standards.

The role requires a GED, 21+, automotive background preferred, valid driver’s license, DOT card pre-hire; shift is 2nd shift (4x10); compensation includes hourly pay of $21.50–$24.20 plus bonuses and

Qualifications

• High School GED is required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics is preferred.
• Active and valid driver’s license required.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Member’s request for service.
• Accepts calls and responds with ETA to destination and clarifies location or issue.
• Ensure member safety and vehicle safety on arrival.
• Explain battery testing results and potential repairs to the member.
