Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Battery Service Tech to support our battery program and provide safe, world-class roadside service for members. You will be dispatched to member requests, assess safety, test batteries, install replacements, and provide diagnostic and referral services as needed.

The role includes shift-based work with differential pay for overnight, evening, and weekend hours, and eligibility for annual bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• At least 21 years of age required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Member’s request for service.
• Accepts calls and responds to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination.
• Locates members and assesses safety of the scene on arrival.
• Greets members and calms or reassures as needed.
• Communicates battery program details and recommendations clearly to members.
• Performs battery testing and minor mechanical assistance as trained.
• Maintains service vehicle and equipment in safe condition.
• Operates laptop to record activity, invoicing, and inventory.
