Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Battery Service Technician to deliver safe, world-class roadside battery services to our members across New Jersey. You will respond to service requests, perform battery testing and replacements, and assist members with diagnostic guidance and battery care.

The role emphasizes safety, professional communication, and adherence to park policies while maintaining vehicle readiness and providing high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• Active and valid driver’s license.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics preferred.
• Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire and periodically thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member requests for service within ETA.
• Provide safe, on-the-go battery service and diagnostics.
• Test and replace batteries; provide jump starts and other roadside services.
• Educate members on battery care and AAA products; promote services.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, safety, and appearance.
