Job summary

AAA-The Auto Club Group is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator in Grand Rapids, MI. You will respond to roadside calls, assist stranded motorists with jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and safely tow vehicles as needed. You’ll work independently on the road with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid license, and pass of drug/MVR/ background checks and DOT physical. Expect a flexible schedule and field-based work day to day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver's license with minimal infractions.
• Able to pass drug screening, MVRO, background check, and DOT exam.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently, make field decisions, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside calls as a service vehicle operator.
• Provide emergency services: tire changes, battery testing/installation, jump starts, lockouts, and fuel delivery.
• Safely tow vehicles per procedures and maintain service vehicle.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete pre/post-trip DOT inspections and document activities.
