Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Road Supervisor to monitor street operations in accordance with client requirements, safety, and operations guidelines. The role includes site checks, on-board vehicle safety, and ensuring on-time performance across routes.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, have at least one year of Road Supervisor experience, and possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of local operations and strong safety records are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as Road Supervisor.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications required per local contract.
• Experience in passenger transportation in similar environments.
• Training and/or field supervision experience preferred.
• Excellent safety and service record.
• Knowledge of local training programs and operations.

• Knowledge of project vehicles, components and data/communications systems.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and corporate safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor street operations according to client, operations and safety requirements.
• Perform site checks and road observations; document findings and report to project staff.
• Conduct wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in-service vehicles.
• Ensure on-time performance, route adherence and schedule compliance.
• Provide information to site personnel and at key locations.
• Respond to accidents and incidents and assist with gathering information for dispatch and operations.
• Accompany operators to medical facilities as needed and oversee post-accident procedures.
• Fill vacant shifts to ensure full service delivery.
• Conduct gate checks at pull-out/pull-in times and ensure proper paperwork.
• Identify potential rerouting due to traffic/construction/accidents.
• Verify operators are fit for duty and properly licensed/certified.
• Assist operators with service or passenger issues.
• Support dispatch and maintenance with field changes.
• Provide safety feedback to improve daily operations and training.
• Assist in determining preventability of incidents and propose improvements.
• Document all field observations and maintain files.
