Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Road Supervisor to oversee street operations in accordance with client, operations, and safety requirements. The role involves monitoring performance, conducting site checks, and ensuring on-time service while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, coordinating with dispatch and staff, assisting with incidents, and ensuring drivers meet licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL License with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement.
• Previous passenger transportation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor street operations according to client, operations and safety requirements.
• Conduct site checks and road observations; document findings and report to staff.
• Perform wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in-service vehicles.
• Ensure on-time performance, schedule and route adherence.
• Assist dispatch and maintenance staff with field changes and incident handling.
• Accompany operators to medical facilities post-accident as needed; manage post-accident procedures.
• Complete paperwork such as manifests and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Identify rerouting needs due to traffic, construction, or incidents.

Education
