Job summary

MV Transportation is hiring a Road Supervisor to monitor and manage street operations, ensuring on-time performance and adherence to safety standards. The role requires a CDL with passenger endorsement and at least one year of road supervision experience, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications per local contract requirements are expected, with preference for prior passenger transport exposure.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
• At least 1 year Road Supervisor experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications according to local contract requirements.
• Previous passenger transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent safety and service record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site checks and road observations per client/local policy and report findings.
• Perform wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in-service vehicles.
• Monitor street operations for on-time performance and route adherence.
• Provide information to site personnel and at key locations.
• Respond to accidents/incidents; assist dispatch and operations to resume service with minimal disruption.
• Accompany operators to medical facilities after injuries and administer post-accident testing.
• Fill vacant shifts to ensure full service delivery.
• Conduct gate checks at pull-out/pull-in times and complete paperwork (manifests, inspections).
• Identify potential rerouting due to traffic, construction, or accidents.
• Ensure operators are fit for duty and compliant with licensing/certifications.
• Assist operators with service or passenger problems; support dispatch and maintenance staff with field changes.
• Provide safety/operations feedback to reduce hazards and improve procedures.
• Assess accident preventability and suggest training based on trends.
