Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Road Supervisor to monitor street operations in line with client, operations, and safety requirements. You will conduct site checks, oversee wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness, and ensure on-time performance across routes.

You’ll also support dispatch, accompany operators to facilities after incidents, and help maintain safety standards within the team. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, relevant certifications, and prior passenger

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications according to local contract requirements.
• Previous passenger transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site checks and road observations per client and local policy, document findings and provide reports.
• Conduct wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in-service vehicles.
• Monitor on-time performance and schedule/route adherence.
• Provide customer information for site personnel and at key locations.
• Respond to accidents and incidents; assist with managing situations and collecting information; assist dispatch and operations staff to resume service.
• Accompany operators to medical facilities as required after accidents or injuries; ensure post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
• Fill vacant shifts to ensure full service delivery.
• Conduct gate checks at pull-out/pull-in times; complete paperwork including manifests and inspections.
• Identify potential rerouting due to traffic, construction or accidents.
• Ensure operators are fit for duty, meet uniform and equipment standards, and hold proper licensing and certifications.
• Assist operators with service or passenger problems; assist dispatch and maintenance staff with vehicle changes.
• Provide feedback to safety and operations on items affecting safety and performance; identify hazards and contribute to procedures.
• Assist in determining preventability of accidents and incidents; contribute to future training.
• Accurately document field observations and maintain files.
