Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Road US division. This role drives profitable growth by acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and building strong relationships within the small- and medium-sized segment.

You will work with Pricing, Operations and Sales Support to deliver transportation and logistics solutions, while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing account development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's/Bachelor's in Business, Logistics, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Experience in a KPI-driven, goal-oriented environment preferred.
• Domestic freight brokerage or related transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SMB segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals and relationships.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant accounts and develop revenue strategies.
• Maintain a portfolio of SMB accounts to support revenue growth and retention.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities; convert them into revenue-generating accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop transportation and logistics solutions.
• Present offerings and participate in pricing discussions; support onboarding and implementation.
• Monitor market activity and maintain CRM data; forecast and report performance.
