Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Road US segment. The role focuses on profitable growth through acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and nurturing relationships within the SMB segment.

You will promote road transportation, freight brokerage, and logistics solutions, building a robust pipeline and converting opportunities into revenue-generating accounts. Working with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support, you will tailor transportation solutions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate or bachelor’s in business/logistics/sales preferred.
Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth is preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
Reactivate inactive accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of SMB accounts to support revenue growth and retention.
Present DSV Road service offerings to prospective customers and prepare proposals.
Collaborate with Pricing, Operations and Sales Support to deliver competitive solutions.
