Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Road US segment. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and growing relationships within small- and medium-sized markets.

You will work with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support to tailor transportation and logistics solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth. This position emphasizes consultative selling and customer value creation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in sales, business development, or related roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the small- and medium-sized customer segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant customer accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
• Maintain a portfolio of customer accounts to drive revenue growth and long-term value.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.
• Convert qualified opportunities into active customer accounts.
• Present transportation and logistics solutions to prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create competitive proposals and ensure smooth onboarding.
