Job summary

DSV Road US is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth through new customer acquisition, reactivation of dormant accounts, and strategic relationship management in the SMB segment. You will promote road transportation, freight brokerage, and logistics solutions while coordinating with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales, business development, commercial, or related experience preferred.
• Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth initiatives preferred.
• Experience working in KPI-driven, goal-oriented, or customer-focused environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the small- and medium-sized customer segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagement, and relationship-building activities.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant customer accounts and develop strategies to increase customer engagement and revenue generation.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of small- and medium-sized customer accounts to support revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term business development objectives.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and business opportunities.
• Convert qualified opportunities into active, revenue-generating customer accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing and prospective customer accounts.
• Meet or exceed assigned revenue, customer acquisition, and business growth objectives.
