Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Business Development Manager, Road US, to drive profitable growth by acquiring new customers and reactivating dormant accounts within the SMB market. You'll build relationships, identify opportunities, and coordinate with Pricing and Operations to deliver tailored road transport and logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
• Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SMB segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagement, and relationship-building activities.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant customer accounts and develop strategies to increase customer engagement and revenue.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of SMB/Mid-market accounts to support revenue growth, retention, and long-term development.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities; convert them to revenue-generating accounts.
• Prepare and present customer proposals, service recommendations, and pricing considerations in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support onboarding and ongoing customer success to promote repeat business.
