Aperion Care in Oak Lawn is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality care under federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities include planning daily nursing activities, administering medications, documenting care, and maintaining patient confidentiality, while coordinating with physicians and ensuring safety protocols. Growth opportunities exist within the facility.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current unencumbered state license.
• Knowledge of nursing & medical practices and regulations for facilities.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate daily nursing activities.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Complete required documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Perform professional nursing tasks (e.g., catheterization, wound care, IV care).
• Coordinate with physicians and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
