Aperion Care is hiring a Registered Nurse in Des Plaines, IL to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. You will administer medications, follow care plans, and coordinate with physicians while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

The role supports a collaborative team environment in a long-term care setting. The RN will engage with residents and families, document accurately, and participate in ongoing training to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• RN with an active, unencumbered license in the appropriate state.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to long-term care facilities.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to train and adapt to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise assistants to ensure quality resident care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately.
• Develop and follow care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Maintain safety protocols and confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Participate in rounds and respond to changes in resident condition.
