Aperion Care in Chicago Heights, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will plan and oversee daily nursing activities, administer medications, complete documentation, and ensure confidentiality.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication. Part-time roles are available; teamwork and patient-focused care are essential to join our growth-focused team at Aperion Care.

Qualifications

• RN license with current, unencumbered state license.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations for long-term care facilities.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Willing to take additional training as required by state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Flexible and adaptable with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities, administer medications, and complete required documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to meet residents' needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff; foster a warm, collaborative environment.
• Perform nursing duties such as catheterization, wound care, and IV care.
• Respond to changing resident needs and adapt care plans accordingly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily routines.
