Job summary

Mercy Virtual is seeking an experienced RN for the vAcute program. This role supports patient care across the continuum, coordinating ED handoffs and facilitating scheduling 24/7 in a patient-centered telehealth environment.

Responsibilities include education and care coordination, with nursing practice guided by Mercy policies and state regulations. The role requires various nursing certifications and a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required in hiring state and/or compact licensure; maintain per state Board of Nursing.
• 2-3 years of recent Med Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience.
• Certifications may include: BLS; other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs.
• Facilitate scheduling and support patients in Mercy's Intense Care Coordination program.
