Job summary

Mercy Virtual triage program is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to operate within the vAcute program, delivering patient-centered care around education and care coordination. The role supports ED handoffs and coordinates scheduling for patients in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program.

The RN must hold an active RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and have 2–3 years of Med/Surg, ED, or Critical Care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure; meet state board requirements.
• 2-3 years of recent experience in Med Surg, ED, or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a 24/7 point of contact for ED handoffs.
• Facilitate scheduling for Mercy patients.
• Support patients enrolled in Mercy’s Intense Care Coordination program across the care continuum.
