MediLodge of Capital Area is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor to direct the nursing unit operations in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and maintaining high-quality, resident-centered care.

You will oversee staffing, QA activities, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions and optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of nursing experience, including long-term care exposure.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the nursing unit operations including hiring, disciplining and evaluating staff.
• Plan and facilitate resident-care committees and meetings.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant care for residents.
