MediLodge of Leelanau is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to direct the operation of a nursing unit in our long-term care facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes staff development, QA participation, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high quality care while managing staffing, performance, and budget considerations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; degree preferred.
• RN license required; CPR teaching certificate if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience; one year in long-term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct the entire operation of a nursing unit within a long-term care facility.
• Hire, discipline and evaluate nursing staff.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues.
• Ensure high-quality care and optimal resident outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and review staffing and budgets.
• Participate in QA activities and staff development.
