• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; degree preferred.
• Licensed RN (state requirements apply).
• Valid CPR teaching certificate, if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the entire operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care facility.
• Hire, discipline and evaluate staff.
• Plan and facilitate meetings addressing resident care issues.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Participate in QA programs and staff development.
