MediLodge of Monroe is seeking a Unit Manager Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the nursing unit in a long-term care facility. You will direct the operation, manage staffing, and ensure resident-centered care with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Experience in performance management and staff development.
• Knowledge of state and federal requirements for accreditation and certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the nursing unit operations, including staffing, budgeting and quality of care.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues and ensure timely physician interventions.
• Monitor clinical operations and ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff.
• Oversee medication, supplies, and medical records to support safe care.
• Assist in orientation and mentoring of new personnel and participate in QA activities.
