Job summary

Qualifications

RN licensed in North Carolina.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
CPR certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
3+ years of experience in a medical setting; supervisory experience preferred.
Working knowledge of electronic health record systems; Athena preferred.
Excellent customer service, computer, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with physicians, MAs, nurses and patients to resolve medication and medical questions.
Assess urgency of patient problems with clinicians.
Record and maintain complete patient–physician communications.
Handle high-volume phone calls and message retrieval.
Submit new prescriptions and refills per physician orders.
Serve as clinic resource on medical information and nursing care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
