Job summary

Call 4 Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 24-hour medical call center as a Remote Triage Nurse. You will perform triage, document in EHR systems, and provide clinical support across multiple states from a home-based setup.

The role emphasizes clinical decision-making, flexibility, and collaboration with providers to deliver timely patient care while maintaining HIPAA-compliant remote workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN with 2–4 years of full-time clinical experience (ER/urgent care, adult, pediatric, ambulatory, or ICU).
• Active ENCL / Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact license and willingness to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound/outbound calls for a multi-state nurse triage service.
• Apply Schmitt-Thompson protocols to assess/triage patients.
• Document patient interactions in client EHR systems.
• Provide clinical assessments via phone or patient portal.
• Support providers with administrative and clinical tasks (refills, notify critical results, post-discharge follow-up).
• Facilitate referrals and assist with prior authorization requests.
