Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Casper, Wyoming, seeks an experienced Staff Development Coordinator - RN to administer, plan, develop, evaluate, coordinate and educate nursing staff across the facility. The role requires an RN license in Wyoming and at least one year of experience planning and directing educational programs for adults in nursing, with preferred two years in nursing and long-term care.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state of employment.
• One year of experience planning, implementing and directing educational programs for adults in nursing.
• Preferred: two years of nursing experience; one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates training needs and provides recommendations to ED and DNS.
• Implements center policies for nursing staff.
• Plans annual education program schedules.
• Maintains education records and attendee performance data.
• Maintains education profiles for nursing employees.
• Teaches center safety policies to nursing staff.
• Obtains continuing education in geriatric care and nursing education.
• Identifies problems, reports findings, and initiates corrective actions.
