Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in compliance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and preferred teaching/education experience in a skilled nursing setting, with CPR certification either at hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

• RN license must be active in good standing.
• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation
• Maintain associate training and in service records
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Education

Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
