Job summary

MediLodge of Wyoming is seeking a Staff Development Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and coordinate the center Staff Development Program while performing clinical tasks and supporting other departments.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 3 years of nursing experience (1 year in long-term care), and CPR teaching certification. BSN preferred with state CE requirements for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• BSN degree preferred; ADN considered with experience.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in long-term care.
• Current CPR teaching certification and compliance with CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates staff training programs.
• Ensures staff training complies with the Code of Conduct and regulations.
• Develops orientation for new, rehired, and contract staff.
• Maintains OSHA/Risk Management documentation and training records.
• Assesses resident needs to tailor training to staff competencies.
• Oversees clinical competency evaluations for nursing staff and CNAs.
• Manages department budget and education program costs.
