Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Nursing licensure and BSN preferred within specified time frames
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care and supports staff in problem solving related to patient/family concerns, risk management, safety, and staffing.
• Responds as charge or lead for disasters and during patient emergencies.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicates with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, admissions and discharges, and patient information for assignments.
• Supports unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping; participates in hospital committees as needed.
• Promotes Intermountain Health mission, vision, and values and adheres to service behavior standards.
