Job summary

Intermountain Health at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana seeks an RN Shift Lead I for a part-time day shift. You will provide leadership and clinical expertise on the unit and coordinate staffing to census and acuity while supporting staff and upholding professional standards.

You will supervise direct patient care, work with the staffing office, relay census and admissions needs, and participate in committees to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree* from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care.
• Assist and support staff in responding to and solving patient/family complaints and safety concerns.
• Respond to patient emergencies as needed and act as charge/lead for disasters when required.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staffing for census changes.
• Communicates census and admissions information to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
