Job summary

South Shore Health System in Massachusetts seeks an Operating Room Service Line Coordinator, a registered nurse responsible for coordinating clinical and operational activities for designated surgical specialties.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nursing leadership, CPD, materials management and vendors to optimize service line performance, lead staff education, assist with scheduling, budgeting and capital planning, and ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing as validated through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• 5 years of OR nursing experience; 2 years of management experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical and operational activities for designated surgical specialties.
• Serves as a liaison between surgeons, staff, hospital leadership and ancillary departments.
• Monitors day-to-day operations and ensures staff education and training.
• Assists with scheduling, room assignments, and preference card accuracy.
• Analyzes service line data and supports budgeting and capital planning.
