Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking an Operating Room Service Line Coordinator, an RN responsible for coordinating clinical and operational activities across designated surgical specialties. The role collaborates with surgeons, CPD, materials management, and leadership to optimize service line performance and patient outcomes.

The position requires RN, 5 years OR nursing experience, and 2 years of management experience preferred, with ACLS and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 5 years OR nursing experience; 2 years management preferred.
• RN license required in MA.

Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, and monitors day-to-day clinical operations of designated surgical services.
• Acts as liaison between surgeons, staff, and leadership.
• Coordinates needs for physicians and submits new products for value analysis.
• Provides guidance on best practices and EPIC documentation.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing leadership, and ancillary departments.
• Monitors equipment, supplies, and room turnover for cases.
• Assists with staff education and training on new procedures and equipment.
• Supports budgeting, capital planning, and service line development.
