Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking an Operating Room Service Line Coordinator (RN) to lead and coordinate clinical and operational activities for multiple surgical specialties. The role requires collaboration with surgeons, nursing leadership, materials management, CPD, and vendors to optimize service line performance and patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in OR nursing with at least 2 years in management, ACLS certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates day-to-day clinical operations of designated surgical services.
• Acts as liaison between surgeons, staff, leadership and ancillary departments.
• Oversees equipment, supplies, and infection control within the service line.
• Collaborates with OR leadership on budgeting, staffing, and capital planning.
• Provides staff education and implements new procedures or technologies.
• Supports service line data analysis to improve outcomes and efficiency.
