Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Daytona Beach, FL. The role follows a 3x12 schedule with day shifts. The RN will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to the care plan.

Responsibilities include timely assessments, discharge planning, patient education, and supervising ancillary staff. BLS and ACLS certifications are required before the first shift, with a minimum of two years bedside experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience required.

• Identify teaching needs and goals related to the patient’s diagnosis.
• Provide timely patient information and status updates.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure quality direct patient care.

• Communicate pertinent information regarding patient status to support continuity of care.
• Provide direction and supervision for ancillary nursing personnel.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through effective teamwork and communication.
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation, as requested.

Job Description
