Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment. This 13-week contract places you on a 3 x 12-hour schedule, providing focused patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise licensed practical nurses and aides, perform timely assessments, document care, and participate in discharge planning. BLS and ACLS are required, with at least two years bedside experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Identify and address teaching needs related to each patient's diagnosis.
• Provide timely patient information for initial and re-evaluation team conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure comprehensive care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching upon admission.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding patient status changes to care providers.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and promote teamwork.

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed.
